BRAINSPOTTING is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, and unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with PTSD. It allows the client to channel the healthy “head” knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
(EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. It is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. EMDR

PTSD can present itself in many forms:
Avoidance of talking or doing anything that brings up the trauma
A sense of numbness or being unable to feel love and happiness
Flashbacks of the event or disturbing dreams
Increased use of alcohol or other substances to dull feelings
Feelings of despair, worthlessness, or suicidal thoughts
Insomnia, difficulty falling or staying asleep
